Executive Management Team

Andy MoninChairman and CEO

As Chairman and CEO of Vendormate, Mr. Monin is responsible for the overall strategic direction and vision of the organization.  Prior to founding Vendormate, Mr. Monin co-founded BroadSource, a telecommunications expense management software and solutions company that raised nearly $8M in private placement and venture capital funding through 2004.  Mr. Monin served as Chairman of the Board and successfully led the company’s sales efforts, as the company became a member of the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) incubator. In January of 2005, the Technology Association of Georgia named BroadSource one of Georgia’s Top 40 Most Innovative Companies. Prior to BroadSource Mr. Monin held various sales and marketing positions for global telecommunications companies Cable and Wireless and MCI.  Mr. Monin received a BA in Political Science from Clemson University.

Bill HayesPresident and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Hayes is responsible for all aspects of Vendormate's business including sales; product development; marketing; account management; corporate services; and customer support. Mr. Hayes brings over 18 years of management, consulting, and information-technology experience to Vendormate. Prior to Vendormate, Mr. Hayes founded Cadence Solutions, a general management-consulting firm with a strong technology focus. Mr. Hayes also served as Vice President of Information Technology for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, a $6B real estate solutions and investment management company operating in 41 countries. In addition, Mr. Hayes spent nearly four years with Andersen Consulting as a Senior Consultant. Mr. Hayes attended Michigan State University where he graduated with highest honors and received a BA in Financial Administration.

Mark ChapmanChief Financial Officer

Mr. Chapman brings over 20 years of financial and operational leadership to Vendormate. In his roles as CFO for pre-revenue start ups to $100+ million annual revenue companies, Mr. Chapman has led all aspects of finance, accounting, HR, legal, operations, and IT. His previous Atlanta-based companies include Spectra Precision Software, Technology Builders, Revenue Technologies and Stratix Corporation where he helped raise more than $30 million in equity, debt and mezzanine financing. In addition Mr. Chapman has been on both the buy-side and sell-side of multiple M&A deals. Prior to his role as CFO with these companies, Mr. Chapman was an audit manager in the technology group of KPMG's Atlanta office. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia and also serves on the board of directors of Ingenious Med, Inc., a provider of practice management and charge capture software to the healthcare industry. Mr. Chapman is a graduate of Auburn University.

Gil BentonVice President of Product Development

Mr. Benton has spent the past 7 years in software product-development and management.  Prior to Vendormate, Mr. Benton served as Director of Technology at BroadSource Inc. where he was responsible for designing the product requirements and managing the software development team.  He served on the Executive Committee and was tasked with leading the technology due-diligence team.  Mr. Benton is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering.

Andrew SomozaVice President of Sales

Mr. Somoza is responsible for leading the sales efforts of Vendormate. Having spent nearly 10 years in US and International software sales, Mr. Somoza brings a disciplined sales structure to the organization. His expertise, which includes application-development-lifecycle software and network security software, has allowed him to manage sales in various environments including direct sales, business development, and channel sales management.  Prior to Vendormate, Mr. Somoza was the Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Lancope, an Internet security software company based in Atlanta.  Prior to Lancope, Mr. Somoza held various sales positions with Borland Software Corporation and Starbase Corporation where he served as an International Sales and Distribution Manager.  Mr. Somoza is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Management.

Gopal KoratanaVice President of Technology and Software Development

Managing the architecture, design and development of Vendormate’s proprietary software, Mr. Koratana brings nearly 12 years of application-development experience to the team. Most recently Mr. Koratana served as Senior Software Architect at Manheim Auctions where he was responsible for the design and development of the Tracker Dealer Management System, which manages the auction operations of over 34,000 car dealerships across the United States.  Prior to Manheim, Mr. Koratana held several positions with various companies including General Electric Transportation Systems and UPS Logistics.  Mr. Koratana holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Nagpur University, India and a Masters of Technology In Electrical Engineering (Energy Systems) from the Indian Institute Of Technology, Madras, India.

Ed ZunzuneguiVice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Zunzunegui is responsible for customer implementations, account management, and ongoing customer support.  The goal of the Operations team is to ensure that customers are implemented successfully, that vendors are credentialed timely and accurately, and that Vendormate personnel have access to the necessary tools and resources to be successful in their day-to-day activities.  He brings over 17 years of consulting and project management experience to Vendormate.  His duties include pre-sales support, process design, software implementation, vendor research, credentialing and account support.  Prior to Vendormate, Mr. Zunzunegui spent time with various companies including Borland Software, Deloitte Consulting, and Lexmark.  At Borland he consulted on various projects including the BusinessObjects products and later served as a program manager for CaliberRM.  His 4 plus years with Deloitte Consulting included project management in supply chain strategies and process improvement for several Fortune(r) 500 companies.  Mr. Zunzunegui is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Industrial Engineering.

Kristine HayesVice President of Vendor Relations

Ms. Hayes manages all aspects of vendor participation in Vendormate solutions. Her team serves as point for vendor service, vendor communication, and vendor value-add programs. Ms. Hayes leverages her broad career in marketing, client relationship management, technology, and finance to ensure maximum value for vendors as well as customers. Prior to joining Vendormate, she worked for Verizon (previously MCI). In her 13 year career at MCI she served as Director of Marketing Communications as well as serving in Product Marketing, Sales Support, Expense Planning, and Capital Planning roles. Before MCI, she worked for Andersen Consulting managing various client relationships and change management programs in Detroit, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Hayes attended Michigan State University where she graduated with high honors and received a BA in Financial Administration.

John HarperVice President of Marketing

John Harper directs brand management and marketing communications for Vendormate. His diverse 20 year career includes Fortune 500 and small business experience. Mr. Harper served as Vice President of Marketing for MCI, guiding its B2B brand management and marketing communications including positioning, customer communications, product launches, tradeshows, and graphic design. He oversaw brand strategy and recovery efforts following the WorldCom bankruptcy that helped hold major account churn to zero and eventually resulted in the successful global re-launch of the MCI brand in the B2B space. His experience includes marketing research, strategy, and product management roles as well as tenure at PathCut Partners, JCPenney and Belden Associates. He earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Georgia and a BBA with honors in Journalism from Baylor University.
