Midtown Capital Advisors’ Founder Shawn Welch Joins Vendormate Board of Directors
Atlanta, GA August 20, 2007 – Shawn Welch, founder and managing partner of the private equity investment firm, Midtown Capital Advisors LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, has joined the board of directors of Vendormate, Inc. He also currently serves on the boards of Action Resources, One Point Financial, Amerifactors, Inc., and Family Private Care.

Midtown Capital seeks to make investments in growth companies with revenues ranging from $1 million to $50 million and has the financial capabilities to invest up to $15 million of equity capital in any one transaction. Since the firm’s inception in the fall of 2006, six investments have been made.
Prior to Midtown Capital, Mr. Welch was a Partner at Roark Capital Group, an Atlanta-based, private equity investment firm with $550 million of capital under management. As a partner in Roark, he was responsible for sourcing and managing portfolio investments. Previous to Roark, he managed the Atlanta office for Banc of America Securities which had investment banking coverage responsibilities for the Southeast. He also had national coverage responsibilities for several industry verticals within the basic industrial sector.
During his 18 year career, Mr. Welch has executed transactions exceeding $100 billion dollars. This includes principal investing, merger and acquisitions advisory services, and capital underwriting across a broad sector of industries. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with highest honors and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he is active within the charitable community.
